- The recording is now available so that you can confirm that I indeed have a German accent and color-match my outfits with my Zoom background. youtu.be/YL0co26ng-g?...
- Happy to announce that I'll give a talk on how we can make rigorous causal inference more mainstream 📈 You can sign up for the Zoom link here: tinyurl.com/CIIG-JuliaRo...
- That was a great presentation. Thank you for your work, I benefited greatly!
- First try at a #TidyTuesday dataset. This one was on the most recent FIDE International Chess Federation's rankings. I decided to create a map exploring which countries give rise to the most Grand Masters. I enjoyed it a lot!
- #TidyTuesday Week 38 - FIDE Took what I know about ELO ratings and made a beeswarm 🐝 to compare Masters and players (like me) near the 1000 ELO mark. Also added a reference section to my script to 'cite' what scripts I looked at. Maybe it'll catch on #Rstats #dataviz Code github.com/nvietto/Tidy...
- Great work, I like it a lot!

- Thank you for the comprehensive insights!
- Today I had the pleasure of presenting our R and Quarto-based reproducible analysis pipeline for a large multicenter RCT at #useR2025. The Clinical Trials session was a wonderful platform for exchange and inspiration. Thanks to all attendees and organizers who made this great conference happen!
- Today marked a great start to this year’s #user2025 conference at Duke university. I especially enjoyed @hadley.nz‘s insightful and humorous keynote. Now I’m very much looking forward to my own talk on Saturday. See you there!

- I thought so. But can we agree that that a less then optimal way to use hashtags? I subscribed to a feed that filters for POCUS content and I would prefer it to show me POCUS content exclusively. I feel like it’s a little selfish of you to force your content on me. Maybe try to reconsider. Thanks.
- What does the trial have to do with POCUS?
- Hadley Wickham(@hadley.nz) is a developer and teacher with immense impact on the R ecosystem. He is Chief scientist at @posit.co where he leads the Tidyverse team. His talk "I wrote this talk with an LLM" explores how AI can help rather than replace data scientists. Register: user2024.r-project.org

- Beautiful!
- 11 years ago, I thought R was unnecessary. Now, I can’t imagine life without it. The switch wasn’t easy, but it made me a better scientist. You can read my journey here: mattkmiecik.substack.com/p/my-start-w... #rstats #DataScience #OpenScience
- Thanks for sharing! I have made just about the same experience (and keep on doing so) over the last 1-2 years. The slower path has grown to be a dear friend of mine and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Keep up the good work!

- That’s so elegant, I love it!
- It’s #POCUS time again. Elderly patient w/ proximal femur fracture accompanied by most severe pain. Due for emergency surgery, but couldn’t even be moved to the table properly. Quick fascia iliaca plane block before any other actions were taken solved it. Femoral nerve on the right. #Butterfly #IQ3
- It’s time for #POCUS - #ICU edition. Elderly patient admitted with (among others) dyspnea. Instant bedside ultrasound reveals substantial pleural effusion. Quick diagnosis, quick treatment. Clip taken with the Butterfly #IQ3 #ultrasound #POCUSky

- Thanks! I had the opportunity to give it a try this week and it really works like a charm! Feels a bit like the Prism of the R ecosystem 😀

- Looks great already!
- There ain’t nothing better than some holiday #POCUS In-plane #PENG block for left pertrochanteric femur fracture. It’s how baby Jesus would have wanted his parents’ #anesthesia to go. Performed using the Butterfly #IQ3 Merry Christmas! 🎄
