- Let's be honest: nobody knows what 'topicality' really means, let alone how to tell whether a project proposal or article is 'topical' (if that is supposed to be something else than just 'trendy').
- Navigating other universities' doctoral regulations or formal requirements for evaluation reports is challenging, but isn't it a privilege and wonderful part of our job that we get to simply spend several hours discussing research, meeting dear colleagues and doing some academic tourism in between?

- Dearest UK, You have a lot to offer, many wonderful specificities I like about you (pictures for reference). - Pluspunkt meiner Uni gegenüber allen deutschen Unis, die ich kenne: Dienstreisen muss ich nicht beantragen, niemand 'genehmigt' sie (außer Risikoländer). Einfache Meldung reicht, nur für die Versicherung. Innerhalb der EU ist nicht einmal das verpflichtend. Ob, Warum und Wann - no questions asked.

- Petit bilan : parmi les DOM créolophones, la Martinique est traditionnellement le plus créolophile (tentatives d'officialisation, militantisme culturel et linguistique etc.) Dans l'espace public, le créole est visible mais largement limité aux slogans, petites expressions, usages symboliques. 1/
- Impression subjective : cette visibilité est légèrement supérieure aux créoles guadeloupéen et réunionnais, limités aux mêmes types d'usage. On trouve rarement du créole écrit à longueur de texte ou une présence écrite monolingue sans équivalent direct de la langue dominante.

- Si le créole était une langue co-officielle, et si une maitrise suffisante du créole serait assurée et demandée pour le travail dans le système judiciaire d'une société créolophone, ces traductions seraient superflues et la procédure considérablement simplifiée.
