Really happy to have been a part of this work. Great work by Sam Leech and
@tiffanybell0.bsky.social. We hope this will help people to standardise and improve using MRS to estimate metabolite concentration.
Excited to share another new publication!🚀
Using a single MRI sequence, we measured individual-specific relaxation factors and proton density for MRS quantification, removing the impact of individual differences in tissue relaxation on metabolite levels.

The 2nd Bangor fMRS symposium kicked off tonight, with a welcome dinner in Bwyd da Bangor. A good start I think.
This month at the BIU, our faculty are working hard on the final preparations for two major symposia/workshops that take place in early September.
Our events attract international instructors, speakers, and we deliver once-in-lifetime experiences and unparalleled networking opportunities.

Abstract words are hard to acquire: Does social relevance help?
We tested if social experience helps children learn words—analyzing >4,000 words by socialness, valence, and concreteness.

Sourdough loaf on the Weber Kettle, using a Pizza stone. It turned out pretty good. Good rise, but the crumb could have been a bit better, not as "chewy" as I would like it.
So happy to see this young man graduate today. He is going to go places!
