- 1/4 Over the last few years of wildlife recording on my wanders I have recorded quite a few species of Coleptera. I find this group of insects fascinating but ID can be tricky with upto 4,500 species in the UK alone. Lesser Stag Beetle, Rough Violet Ground Beetle, Green Tiger Beetle, Rose Chafer.
