- I think the vast majority of the followers are from starter packs, so they end up following thousands of accounts. So while the follows go up, engagement stays constant.

- I tried Threads once during Hurricane Helene, and left when Internet randos shouted me down about what was happening on my own street. Since then, every “You might like this” ad for Threads might as well be that meme with the dude in front of a table and the CHANGE MY MIND sign.
- Threads is an absolute dumpster fire, in my experience.
