Back to post- That reminds me of a conversation I had with another librarian about sending weeded titles to schools in other counties. Seeing “DISCARD” stamped or blacked out can impact how Ss view those books and even how they see reading itself—it really made me think about the messages we send. #TLSkyChat
- A2 cont’d - Making sure we have authentic representation. Making sure students don’t feel judged for turning in a late book, damaged book, etc. - it’s just a conversation. Trying to let kids participate in a way that’s comfortable for them. Giving choices. #TLSkyChat
