good tools, like, art tools, understand that good art requires Thought. They make room for the kinds of Thought an artist might want to engage in and try primarily to automate the parts that are repetitive or obvious.
Feb 2, 2026 01:10bad art tools are often the ones that don't consider these use cases. They are often interested in automation to a fault. But the result is nearly always wrong, or unsuitable, or at best merely extremely boring. Because if you automate the Thought out there is no room for Art to be made.
