- Ah, just seen this... They certainly have form for breaking the rules! These letters are very similar, wonder if either of these pensioners actually exist?? 🤔 #NigelFarage #Reform
- Another oops moment for #Reform yet nothing will ever be done to stop their flagrant breaking of electoral laws 🙄

- No matter your position on the #AssistedDyingBill the unelected HoL should not be able to fillibuster it. 6 Lords have added the most amendments to try and stop the Bill. This is not democracy! #Labour #MyChoice #YesToDignity
- A petition has been started by assisted dying campaigner Sophie Blake - who has incurable secondary breast cancer - to stop the Lords from frustrating bills approved by MPs. Peers are currently debating the assisted dying bill at a snail’s pace. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/75...

- Well, today is a VERY good day! My neighbours are finally moving out, their place has been on the market for almost 2 years. Hopefully the new people won't set fire to neighbours gardens with fireworks, won't have police turning up 'cos of fights & won't verbally abuse anyone 🙏 Happy days 🥳🥳🥳

Good jobs, meaningful work, and the pursuit of purpose are all better enabled by the creation of an unconditional universal basic income floor.

- Reposted by SueThe @lowpaycommission.bsky.social annual report is out. As always contains lots of insights. This is key chart for me: 20% of jobs are now paid within £1 of the minimum wage, up from 14% in 2015. Whatever you think of the minimum wage, its increasingly important!

- I was "lucky". I lost my job just days before I got diagnosed with cancer (i.e. managed out due to ill health 🙄) At my diagnosis meeting I was told to call Macmillan. They gave me a grant, just enough to squeak by on until #UC kicked in! Unfortunately they now don't do this! UC is a cruel system
- What the hell #Labour, seriously... What. The. Fucking. Hell?? You'd better have some amazing fucking plan you're going to announce soon to deal with this massive issue. Ya know, let's go after tax dodgers for a change rather than take money off the sick & disabled, would make a fucking change 😡
- Yes, yes, all very good... Apart from the fact that they are cutting the amount new claimants will receive for UC sickness element by half from April! And still no decision on how they will assess UC sickness claims going forward 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ #Labour #WelfareNotWarfare #UC #PIP #BinTheUCBill #TakingThePIP
