- So, the solution is essentially Akrotiri and Dhekelia in the Arctic. An arrangement that was entirely achievable from the very start—without necessitating a bombastic, humiliating crisis—if one just used some manners and extended their friends basic respect.
- As righteously offended and outraged as Europeans are at Americans for electing this man, you feel no differently than so many of us have for a decade now. But we feel that way about our family members, our friends and neighbors, co-workers and former teachers. Not just abstract foreigners.

So we get a loop: Trump does things → nothing happens (markets already priced in TACO) → that emboldens him to do more → until markets start to think he might not TACO → stocks fall → TACO is restored.
