as a non-coding newb I learned fairly quickly to make it create,regularly update, and review architecture and changelog md files so it doesn’t burn half my tokens re-learning what it did last week
Oh yeah. I do a lot of that too, but it's still... weird.
Feb 4, 2026 05:57I also have instructions in claude md to review those files before committing any changes on new sessions, which it always has, until tonight it just… didn’t. Burned through all my usage on something very minor. Bizarre software.
