- Academia doesn’t need another minor tweak. It needs a total overhaul. Welcome to the debut of Under Review, my podcast where we stop polite desk-shuffling and start reimagining a system that actually works. Episode 1. @deevybee.bsky.social Spotify open.spotify.com/episode/0vdP... 1/3
- many thanks to @andytattersall.bsky.social for indulging me and encouraging me to discuss all the things that should go in the bin. Nice long chat which is the antithesis of Tiktok.

- Great new paper! A similar study in the U.K. is long overdue. A lot of elite employers in the U.K. have begun to take class background seriously, but universities remain woefully behind
- My colleague Kevin Munger asked me and a bunch of editors to sit and think through AI and peer review. Our take: osf.io/9sxnc/files/... We envision an increased (!) involvement of humans in the evaluation of social science.
