- Managed to do an early morning run in Tallinn this morning. Giving a talk on behavioural science & public admin to Estonian civil servants ahead of IAREP conference in Tartu. Covering models, ethics, institutional forms, case studies in admin burden, climate change, regulatory reform.
- Attended a talk in US in 2011 when the late, great Alan Krueger was head of CEA. He started by saying the biggest issue the US economy faced in next decade was mental health & pain. In the manner & context of him saying it, it was profound to hear. No less important for US & others in next decade.

- I could use current AI deep-research models to write an essay that would convince even an expert reader that I had a good grasp of the evolving literature on the second law of thermodynamics. The same trained eye could verify with very simple questions that I hadn't got a clue what any of it meant.
- One of buildings here completely full today including talk by Reid Hoffman, a number of workshops, several student policy & business simulations, lots of students engaged in exam prep. Buzzing with activity. Whatever new features evolve the campus as a busy train station of ideas still has appeal.
