- I got these 5x7 pastel panels as a materials test. I usually plien air with my 9x12 pastel pad and I love working large so using smaller boards and canvas was counter intuitive for me. As with all things I've resisted doing in art, I found myself unleashed in some weird way and reevaluating my style

- A bunch of Irish people fleeing starvation, and one poor young lady who was kidnapped and sold as a bride in North Carolina. They ALL ended up in Texas and north Carolina and ended up becoming a pack of a**holes. Betrayed their ancestors by participating in the oppression of others. 🙄😮💨🙄

- I've had paintings sit on the back burner for years. Sometimes the answer comes later. Also, oils take time. It can actually take years to finish a large scale oil painting and it takes 3-6 months for an oil painting to fully dry. When you look at art remember Ideas can take years to develop.
