- A tremendous, heartbreaking performance of one of my favorite shows. Parade was incredible. Bittersweet--the last tickets of the subscription I bought last fall. I will miss the Kennedy Center and hope one day it is back in the hands of those who truly champion artistic expression.

- Cabaret was beautiful, top to bottom and start to finish. Everything felt purposeful and wow live theater is as close to real magic as there is.

This year I've performed in a Prince-themed musical about scientific publishing in front of industry peers, worn cosplay that involved copious red body paint at a con of 25k, + attended robot prom in a rhinestone bustier. I assure you sobriety is joyful and definitely not boring.

- This week's @pewpewbang.bsky.social ep unearthed a long-lost memory of the Learning Company's American Girls Premiere game. We didn't own many games and 11-year-old theater-kid me was OBSESSED that you could make your own plays with the girls from the American Girl books. It was everything.

- #SplitFiction was a wonderful treat. Visually stunning and mechanically unique, with a really thoughtful story throughout. A rare gem of a couch co-op game in an era when those are few and far between.
- Went to radiology. They didn't have my order. Called doc. Office says it was faxed. Back to radiology--no order. Called doc and they re-sent fax. Waited 30 min. Called back, they faxed + emailed to radiology. Fax comes 20 min later (no email ever did). Fax is for bloodwork, not x-rays. Send help.
- Finally, receptionist calls and gets x-ray order verbally from doc. I have escaped radiology hell. Luckily the labwork appointment was uneventful. Chronic illness is not for the weak.
