- I'm 99.9% certain what I delivered earlier today were the final notes on the galley pages for TO DEFY FATE, my #StarTrekPicard novel due in stores on or about April 28th. If all goes to plan, the next time I see it likely will be when I open a box of copies at Ward Manor. #StarTrek #WritingLife

- "Meld" is full of fascinating ideas which take full advantage of #Voyager's premise. The exploration of Tuvok's ability to accept a murder without motive is expertly handled and Tim Russ delivers a richly layered performance. Brad Dourif is memorably singular as Suder. Score: 4.5/5 #TrekRewatch5

- "Prototype" is powered by an appealingly almost retro science fiction premise, and provides a strong showcase for B'Elanna. Not every production element completely succeeds, but I do jive with the throwback nature of the story and with Roxann Dawson's great work here. Score: 3.0/5 #TrekRewatch5

- Time to post this rather incredible photo again. The largest volcano in the Solar System, Olympus Mons, with one of the Solar System's smallest moons, Phobos, crossing it. Photographed from Mars orbit. Credit: Credit: ESA/DLR/FU Berlin/Andrea Luck @andrealuck.bsky.social CC BY
