92k. Two more chapters to revise, and, I've got to say, some of my very favourite bits coming up. But right now I'm going to go for a walk and clear my head. I'm talking on zoom about another novel entirely at 4pm!
91k. The novel form will not beat me yet.
Just to say, this book has for a variety of reasons been a particularly hard write, and I’ve been beset by doubt until pretty much yesterday. But this feeling, when the flow happens, is just the best. Why would you ever want a machine to do this for you?
