I eventually adjusted my worldview to align with reality, which is why I know it's possible and I EXTRA hate that fucker.
JD Vance is the most loathsome character in American politics, and it's mostly because he's immediately recognizable to anyone with an interest in politics as The Worst Guy From Your PoliSci Class

Yes. Same thing with sex and gender. I know you learned about XX and XY genes in junior high, but we’ve moved past that. You should learn things after age 18.
I simply wake up every day and am not threatened (and to the contrary am delighted!) by being wrong about something and learning new facts. JD Vance and every homeschool family I know could never.
Right? I don’t get why so many people want to know less about the world. What benefit comes from being wrong? There’s plenty of stuff I don’t know or understand, but I’m not fighting for people to be as ill-informed as me. That’s such a sad way to live.
