- Just finished Your Head is a Houseboat by Cam Walker (Struthless) -- and holy crap. I never expected a goofy psychology book to hit me so effin' hard by the end. The eBook doesn't do it justice, I already ordered a hard copy.
- Random recommendation, but if you visit bookshop.org you can buy books/ebooks and support local bookstores in the process. You can even pick YOUR local bookstore if you want. Coffee Tree Books is on the list for any locals who might want to help 'em out.
- 2 years, 7 months. That's the lifespan of my Apple Pencil. One of the kiddos broke it this morning... It was a good run!
- I keep finding myself interested in Eastern Philosophies like Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism over the past two decades. So I FINALLY decided to really start exploring their depths. They all fascinate me with their focus on personal growth, kindness, and wisdom. I think we could all use more of that.
- I got to spend the day with the missus doing a tattoo to celebrate her graduation (with high honors). What a nerd.

- Success, to me, is getting to make art for a living, putting my kids in bed every night, reading good books, and talking with good people. I'm already living that dream. :)
- I provide the best aftercare I've been able to find, for free. From Saniderm to Hustle Butter. But I don't do it for entirely unselfish reasons. The better your aftercare is, the better your tattoo heals. And a tattoo that heals well is good marketing for me.
