- There are only three acceptable lengths for an album: 1) 45 mins (one side of a C90) 2) Around 74 mins (CD or MiniDisc capacity) 3) 90 mins for a double (tape again) I don't record to / burn any of these formats anymore. But still.Feb 3, 2026 09:33
- I’d narrow it down to just Rule 1. Has to fit on a C90, although I could cope with 50 mins on a AR100. And frankly anything over 45 mins has to justify our time and patience, imo only The Cure’s Disintegration is good enough.
