- I would need to know what "cosmic" meant, if they were prehensile, how strong they were and if they had to be kept wet. Because those tentacles have potential
- People keep saying Bezos wrecked the Post on purpose but he could have just done that if he wanted to, no need to drag it out for years. I think he and his fellow traveler billionaires have thoroughly cooked their worldview and honestly believe there is a vast, silent, ignored right wing audience
- Imagine being surrounded by people who laugh at every joke you make, say "omg what a great idea boss!" every time you share a bad shower thought. The bubble that billionaires live in directly results in extreme mental illness, on top of the sociopathy necessary for them to get there in the 1st place
- Every piece of advice for powerful, influential people: "Shun flatterers" But they don't understand it. They love Machiavelli and didn't understand a word he wrote They live Shakespeare in ng tragedies and don't understand a word he wrote

- These people who are like "Pedophilia was NBD until about 10 years ago" are either under 25 or have highly selective memories I literally remember a radio discussion from 2001 about this I keep hearing "nobody said this until 10 years ago" that I heard people saying when I was a kid (I'm over 50)

- I still make fun of the idea people were crossing into Mexico to meet Islamic terrorists and requiring passports would make this more difficult to get away with
- Making the unoriginal observation that it in times that were not insane, whether the government would shut down in 24 hours would be the #1 story. It isn't in the top 3 right now because we have a madman executive and an evil ruling party
