People keep saying Bezos wrecked the Post on purpose but he could have just done that if he wanted to, no need to drag it out for years. I think he and his fellow traveler billionaires have thoroughly cooked their worldview and honestly believe there is a vast, silent, ignored right wing audience
Imagine being surrounded by people who laugh at every joke you make, say "omg what a great idea boss!" every time you share a bad shower thought. The bubble that billionaires live in directly results in extreme mental illness, on top of the sociopathy necessary for them to get there in the 1st place

In hindsight, Jeff Bezos seems to have been pretty good at being able to sell books on the "World Wide Web." But he's surrounded by people who call him a genius every 30 seconds and who also tell him he's "very good at space" and also "very muscular and tough looking."
The guy's brain is cooked.
