- This administration is not shocked or upset by protests or citizens being killed. They factored in resistance long ago. What they did NOT predict was the BIPARTISAN support for #releasetheepsteinfiles. It’s the most destabilizing vulnerability point of this administration. Press that button hard!

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsThere’s a rally going on in Boston rn and they’re chanting “we’re not cold, we’re not afraid, MN taught us to be brave!” and I might cry
- We need Congress and the American people to bring EVERYTHING to a grinding halt. Everything. Not at some designated date in February. Not next week. Now. #generalstrike

- The Supreme Court’s rejection of Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal request is a desperately needed reminder that convicted pedophile sex traffickers belong behind bars. Given current politics, I’m pleasantly surprised to see the safety of children finally prioritized over protection of powerful abusers.
- Nobody talks about how exhausting it is to be stuck in survival mode. Your body keeps pumping out stress hormones like you’re in crisis 24/7. Over time, this can lead to chronic fatigue, digestive & immune issues, brain fog, & much more. That’s what constant survival mode can look like.

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsLawrence: One of the examples you've put out is in Speaker Mike Johnson's Louisiana district, a 60 year old couple earning 82,000 a year. Their health care premiums will rise by almost $20,000 by 300% because of what their congressman is doing.

Take solace in dear leader's words: "Nothing bad can happen. It can only good happen." (and "DON'T TAKE TYLENOL"). Let the healing begin...
- I say Epstein’s name now because I couldn’t for 30 years. For decades, survivors have carried the shame while the people who harmed us kept their power. Saying his name isn’t about him. It’s about reclaiming the truth he tried to erase. I’m not part of his legacy. I’m part of the reckoning.

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsRepublican Sen. Lisa Murkowski cast the deciding vote to keep the Epstein files sealed. We dug into why—and uncovered a tangled web linking her to Ghislaine Maxwell, her husband, a powerful donor, and big money in Alaska. Go to the LINK in BIO to read the full investigation.

Thank you @jimacosta.bsky.social for shedding light on the darkness that is Epstein and is this social problem that society must face and address. - “If there is no credible evidence of trafficking, then why do you worry that there are men in these files that could be harmed?”
- When we say “believe women,” we mean: Trust that harm is real. Trust that pain is present. We aren’t saying we don’t want accountability. We’re saying that to ever get there, we first have to recognize the injury.

- Official statement from Epstein/Maxwell survivors re: Kash Patel testimony
- You don’t need proof for me to tell you I was r*ped. You don’t need every detail. You can simply choose to believe someone when they tell you they’ve been harmed.

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsThis is terrifying in America. ICE agents are showing up masked—these abductions must stop. If you’re going to detain someone, show your face, present a warrant, and proper ID. Disappearing people from their families without evidence or accountability isn’t law enforcement—it’s state-sponsored fear.

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsTonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back. This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008. Also bigger than the 2024 DNC. And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

- Reposted by Jess MichaelsI got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org
