- I’ll be perfectly honest. I couldn’t care less about IF. All I want is for my work to handled appropriately, in unbiased fashion, and published in journals with analogous quality work. This is what all these journals should be striving for, and frankly there’s a lot of work to be done for most.
- If I could rank the clinical 🫁 journals for these metrics that I value as an author (and reviewer!) I’d go with Thorax + Annals ATS at the top Both timely, fair, and consistent in what they publish Then the rest… where politics, delays, and inconsistency are frequent My twopence
