- This man is like Thanos mixed with Forest Gump. If there weren’t receipts for all of this I wouldn’t believe it

- i don't know how to encapsulate how much weird shit is in this interview i just now made it to the part about calling Jimmy Kaine, president of Bear Sterns, on September 15th or 16th, 2008, during the financial crisis, collect from jail www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3QW...
- sorry, james cayne. jeff calls him jimmy and jimmy picked up the phone for him, apparently
- i swear to god i do not want to have to consider it possible that jeffrey epstein personally caused the 2008 financial crisis
- I want people to understand this. For many of them, democracy ended when Obama was elected twice and Black Lives Matter rose to prominence. This is them “fixing” a system that felt broken and newly unsafe to them.
- Apparently the FBI's Epstein redaction machine was set to redact "don't" (Don T) for some reason. That would appear to run afoul of The Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405)
- Maybe we need to take a different approach: who in this administration is *not* in the Epstein files?
- Hooray, my shirt arrived in time for the state Dem convention in a couple weeks

- "I don’t know how other people react when they get bullied, but I don’t back down when I get bullied. I fight harder. Everyone I see out here is like, What do you think—we’re gonna quit? We live here." AUTOCRACY IN AMERICA bonus episode, from Minneapolis www.theatlantic.com/podcasts/202...
- most recent email i have received is a guy who told me i should be lynched. looked him up and he is a 68/69-year-old retiree in phoenix who doesn't appear to be married or have children. his facebook page is nothing but reposted memes and AI slop and he used to post a lot on gun forums

- his email to me said that i have "no value" and i am pretty much convinced that it was projection. i almost feel bad for him.
- it is wild how these people just email me these things while being easily findable. one guy was a thirtysomething realtor out in the midwest. single. no particular distinctions as far as i could tell in his life.

- Just unspeakably cruel
- you know it's bad when they would rather us think that a rando staffer has unfettered access to the social media accounts of the President of the United States, where we also now know that world leaders direct message him

- They’re trying to run the Kilmar Abrego Garcia playbook with a five year old boy in a bunny hat because nobody can find peace if they embarrass the Trump administration publicly. Normal people didn’t like it with Garcia and they really aren’t going to like it for Liam.

- Every time I re-read Trump v. United States, it feels like getting hit in the head with a mallet.
- There's exactly one normal man left on planet Earth.
- From @acyn.bsky.social (posted on X) "Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal? Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail… Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you. Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."
- Don’t worry everyone, I have a plan to personally save journalism. I simply need to make a billion dollars and not be corrupted by my newfound wealth
- Fun fact- if you take AIPAC money you can’t get an Indivisible endorsement in your primary.
- Staggeringly, viciously racist and this is just a confirmation of it all.
- "I never would have endorsed the guy who built his political career off rejecting the citizenship of the first Black president, if I knew he was a racist!"
- We can’t settle for empty reforms with the regime’s terror machine. We need EVERYONE to be as loud as possible over the next week to make capitulation politically impossible for Congress. Call your senators: indivisible.org/actions/ice-... Call your representative: indivisible.org/actions/ice-...
- Here's what Dems should do: 1) Double down on the demands. 2) Make clear there will be no additional funding. If the GOP wants to shut down DHS, that's on them. Don't surrender to pushback from these goons. Take inspiration from the people of Minneapolis. apnews.com/article/home...
- They've adopted a strategy of claiming they're dialing it down while changing nothing on the ground. Minnesota is still under a violent, lawless reign of ICE terror. Children and families are still being abducted. Do not look away.

- JUST IN: A federal judge has barred ICE and DHS from using taxpayer information provided by the IRS. Judge Talwani says that DHS' view that noncitizens lack 4th amendment rights — combined with ICE use of administrative warrants — is a recipe for abuse. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
- For those who don't know, Luttig was once considered the intellectual heir to Scalia. He was about as conservative a judge as you could find...
- Luttig: It doesn’t matter what the Supreme Court does from this point forward. For two years, the Supreme Court has authorized the absolute lawlessness and unconstitutional activity of this president.
