- As a native Texan, now happily ensconced in MD, can I just say, “You lost in Tarrant! County!?! You managed to make FORT WORTH reject you, you absolute maga weirdos. If y’all weren’t dedicated to killing nurses, moms, and making sure more kids died of measles, I’d almost be impressed.”
- Reposted by James Hedrick (he/him)When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?
- Reposted by James Hedrick (he/him)The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember: - Organized a city wide general strike - Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence - Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE - Flipped public opinion against ICE

- Reposted by James Hedrick (he/him)The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

They’re finding that even though subclade K evades many immune defenses, hospitalizations among children especially are still mostly kids who weren’t vaccinated. theyre finding vaccination still slows community spread and is reducing illness severity. GET VACCINATED.

- Reposted by James Hedrick (he/him)One basic pattern here is that DHS officials are engaging in violence simply because they are irritated at citizens protesting them. There is no plausible threat of violence here. He just wants to inflict pain, and believes there will be no penalty for doing so.

But the product of writing isn't words, any more than the product of justice is prisoners, or the product of love is weddings. The product of writing is meaning.
