- When you are annoyed that the bus is late or non-existent it is because of heavy traffic more often than not. We need automatic traffic enforcement cameras, properly targeted at known bottlenecks across our city and ring roads this year, backed by legislation from ministers in Dublin. @labour.ie

- Labour councillor Peter Horgan, chair of the transport SPC, told The Echo “It was a positive discussion. What is critical now is ensuring we can bring forward as much as possible the new network routes for BusConnects which require additional drivers and depot capacity.”
- I have placed public transport as a key pillar of my mandate in Cork City Council, I further that in my role as chair of Transport and Mobility: I was delighted that Ivana Bacik was the only party leader (outside of An Taoiseach) to travel Cork It’s vital that communities engage on this
- I was the only Councillor to raise the issue in advance of the Atlantic Pond Station. We require more detail on what happened and I am seeking onsite briefings to ensure the station doesn’t result in sewage flooding again @labourpartyireland.bsky.social

- At the moment, you walk down Patrick Street/go to any shopping centre and you see these vaping stores; the colours of disposable vapes which are designed to be attractive to children, they are littering our communities, you see the stickering from them all over bins outside shops — it’s insidious
