- Man, I love writing about healing in a more low-powered sense, and I choose to do so because of the storytelling opportunities offered when magic doesn't fix everything. HOWEVER, sometimes I also like to think about the visceral horror of powerful magical healing. This, too, is delicious.

- Important reminder that you can read things. You don't have to watch. There is no need to subject yourself to trauma in order to bear witness - it can take far less than that to start developing PTSD. Take care of yourself.

- Rain'li has a frustrating tendency to assume he knows what the people around him need or how they feel without asking them, and can act rather paternalistically based upon that flawed intuition.
