- Hamish’s OTRB big brother (10 year gap between them to allow my heart to heal) lived the dream when a balloon landed behind my parents’ house. He knew his barking absolutely did the job in bringing it down. But also lost his sweet little mind over it all.

- I think we live in the same city and agree it’s been very not fun! Super grateful to have air conditioning and a naturally cool basement so we also don’t have to run it all the time. I know we’re lucky.

- Try the Skai Bar atop the Swiss Hotel Stamford! Perfect view of the Bay and looks over the Marina Bay Sands. It’s higher - 70th floor.

- You should try dinner at one of the waterside restaurants at the East Coast Seafood Centre. The lights from the ships on the straits at. Night are lovely and both the chili and the black pepper crab are delicious! Skip the Singapore Sling at Raffles Long Bar though - not worth the crazy dosh.

- Just gotta say. Playing the 1812 Overture on July 4th is just weird. I know it’s done every year. But 1. The US lost that one. 2 DC was sacked. And, even it was composed more to mark Russia’s victory over France - Russia is not an ally. And France funded the American Revolution and remains an ally.
