- This photo was taken on the porch of the historic Grand Canyon Lodge when I was there as an Artist in Residence. The lodge, visitor center, cabins were all destroyed by a wildfire yesterday. I'm not sure if they were able to save any historic or art items. It's heartbreaking... #northrim

- 18" SW pottery figure; the head is removable which made it easier to make and fire. I added ceramic feathers on the head and rattle and tied them on with leather. Clay, stains, oxides, and matte glazes. With respect to my Hopi friends. This is for my own personal use. #ceramics #pottery #art

- I spent 3 weeks on the North rim as the artist in residence and every day was a treat to the eyes and the senses, as well as great for my creativity and inspiration.
