- My pleasure! Depending on how much spare time you have, both York and Leeds are magnificent cities that are well worth an explore. It’s a lovely part of the country.
- You’ll want the service from London Kings Cross. There are direct trains every couple of hours, but you can also change at York or Leeds for a more frequent service. I’d recommend booking to guarantee a seat. You can see example details here: www.nationalrail.co.uk/journey-plan...

- Never imagined I’d see the cover of Heartworm whilst scrolling through BlueSky. What an album!
- I wrote part 2 of the journey to a self-hosted music setup. It's pretty much there, I'm really happy with where I've ended up: polytechnic.co.uk/blog/extract...

- Plus point for geographic fidelity. Will you be reviewing it?
- Any egregious geography errors yet? I kinda want to watch it so I can say “yeah, you can’t get to Turl Street from there”

- 5: A well turned ankle.
- 6: First paid job, I worked in a hobby/model shop. It wasn’t very busy so I spent most of the time assembling and painting Star Wars kits.
- 3: Nope. As I’m about to hit a half century of orbits around the sun, one of the things I’ve learned is life is too short to fuck around with subtext.
- 4: No. People are messy, I don't think there's an absolute perfect fit for anyone out there, just degrees of compatibility. Relationships take work.
- 1: Not really, but one of my best friends calls me “Sparky” in text messages, because he thinks my brain is weird in the connections it makes.
- 2: The one gig I ever played, afterwards a friend called my guitar playing “unconventional”. I was in a big Jesus & Mary Chain / Sonic Youth phase, so this was literally the greatest compliment ever. Put it on my tombstone please (full story polytechnic.co.uk/blog/2017/08...)

- You might like the soundtrack to Outer Wilds. It’s less orchestral, but has a lovely vibe (and the game itself is amazing if you’re into exploration and puzzles). youtube.com/playlist?lis...
