- Reposted by Sarah FossheimI made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️🌈💖

- haven't been very active on social media lately because I've been busy with another project: our upcoming move to the arctic 🩵 last week we finally found a house, which we'll take over in May, and move into in June. This is so exciting 🤩

- Pixelfed as an instagram alternative for wildlife photography: yes/no, and anyone has good server recommendations? Kinda tempted to just stick to my own website, and the occasional sharing to mastodon/BlueSky/flickr though 🤔

- Bird of the day: the razorbill, closest living relative to the extinct Great Auk. Razorbills are also vulnerable, having seen a >30% population reduction in Norway the last 50 years. Over half of Norway's seabirds are threatened, and 80% have disappeared from bird cliffs. #photography #ornithology
