- KJZZ had @plach.bsky.social on The Show to talk about podcasting for urgent times. This interview is so hopeful and grounded (small is all). Truly cannot wait for Pam’s lecture tomorrow. Join us online or in-person at 2pm MST! @asulincolncenter.bsky.social asuevents.asu.edu/event/storie...
- I could not be more excited that the brilliant @plach.bsky.social is visiting Arizona and @asulincolncenter.bsky.social this week to talk about the stories we need, the voices we need, the histories we need in these (urgent) times. The lecture will be hybrid! Join us in-person or ✨online✨!
- Thank you, @ach.bsky.social #ACH2025 team & to everyone that participated in sessions this week to come together in a time where we need community more than, perhaps, ever! And thank you @audinyann.bsky.social for capturing the pure joy of the Work Adventure dance party! #ACH2025

- At my first DH conference (2012?), I met @brettbobley.bsky.social in passing. From that quick, likely minute-long convo, I saw a generosity and a kindness that I've carried forward into my DH and personal life. Without the ODH, my world would be smaller and less brilliant. #ThanksBrett

- "I hate that this sounds like a eulogy." -@snblickhan.bsky.social on how NEH is "an agency that really believes in the promise of our field." And Sam wraps with a promise and a call to be sand in the gears of the anti-fascist machine. May we all be sand. #ACH2025
- This #ACH2025 morning (Pacific Time): "What the NEH ODH Has Inspired". @jimccasey1.bsky.social has already made me cry. @altnehgov.altgov.info was essential for me as a professional, for so many of us. My career, the friendships I hold so dear, my work -- I can never express enough gratitude.

- Mic drop moment in the "Twelve is the New Geriatric" #ACH2025 panel from Mia Wells, who presented on futurebuilding, long-term planning, and stakeholder engagement: "Sustainability is *all* of our responsibility."
- On the "three mantras of Long DH" (Futurebuilding DH) from Johannes Burgers: 1) "go slow and build things", 2) "teamwork makes the dreamwork, but nagging helps" (people-first proj management), 3) "love your data like you love yourself" (tech changes, data doesn't; set your data free!). #ACH2025
- The #ACH2025 WorkAdventure panels = visible traces of community. I love "seeing" folks attending the panels -- thank you @wepm.bsky.social for this joyful gathering space! 10B session on "geriatric" DH is an exploration of access, cybersecurity, sustainability of older DH projects! @ach.bsky.social

If you receive an email from DOGE cancelling your NEH award,

They’ll be cancelling huge swaths of grants/contracts and starting a Reduction in Force (RIF).

- I just spent so much time crafting a thread abt TikTok, & the massive negative impact that the app going dark would have. I also spent countless hours this week downloading content & saying goodbye to our creator collaborators. And it turns out it was all a stunt. www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...
