This time I'm diving into the works & adaptations of Stephen King w/ @haynerland.com @lizshannonmiller.com @quinciwho.bsky.social. Out on podcast platforms & YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPwM...
- rewatching ‘Younger’ and this show’s like a tribute to the iPad mini as an e-reader (the real ones know 🥲)

- wait it would've been sick to see the Nosferatu dress on stage (and in full bright light) 🥺
- If anyone else started sobbing at Cynthia's "Home" and wants to read about the legacy of The Wiz, I spoke with the cast and creatives behind last year's production: www.marieclaire.com/culture/the-...

- My mom just sent me the perfect morning text “I do not like Bruno’s new song with that red person.”
- In March 2020 I had a gig writing up a local newspaper’s man-on-the-street section, which I promptly gave up once lockdown orders came. I was lucky enough to be living with my mom and surviving on no income for a month or two before I found remote work,
- but losing that gig was a part of the national emergency. I think that’s why rn is such a mindfuck because work’s just expected to go on, except for the people who lost absolutely everything. how are people supposed to stay sane in the wake of (during!) their birth city’s devastation?
- the U.S. has needed a mass mental-health break for the past four years now, but literally nothing will make capitalism stop huh

- 🎶It’s the most seasonaldepressionfilled tiiiime of the year🎶

- Spent the last day of the year catching up on awards season. So far Nickel Boys (rewatch), I Saw the TV Glow, Anora, and Queer have altered my brain chemistry
- who are the flag/colorguard girlies from #BeyonceBowl so I can follow them? 🥹
- Let’s try a Bluesky version of an end-of-year recap
- Formal reviews are a less common part of my job, but I’m so proud of my review of this random show that came out of nowhere and shook me to my core www.marieclaire.com/culture/tv-s...
- Reposted by Quinci LeGardyewe're hitting new years resolutions and I have a few percolating, but the thing that really strikes me across them is how much I want LESS. I want fewer inputs, and to do fewer things but to do them well and deeply. Wanting LESS in a culture that constantly pressures us to desire more feels wild.

- Reposted by Quinci LeGardyeThis is such a good story, and at its core is something that I think the scale of online shopping often hides from us in plain sight: So much of the abundance it promises is just a lot of disappointing sameness in the end

That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂
- Past Lives is as good as the hype, straight up the best movie of the year so far. For Marie Claire, I spoke with the lovely Greta Lee about her visceral reaction to the script and her first Korean-speaking role. marieclaire.com/culture/movies/gret…
