- imagine my surprise 3.5 yrs ago when, new to fandom and freshly having chosen the handle "knotwerk," i encountered my first omegaverse fic in the wild
- "knotwerk" was a reminder to me that this (writing & fandom play) is NOT WORK. it's also a nod to my enthusiasm for untangling knots (literal, narrative, and otherwise), and to my disability pride cuz this body is just not built for twerking anymore
- and yeah so when i learned about omegaverse, i immediately thought, "wellp, guess one of these days fuckin 'knotwerk' should write some," but i lovingly slapped my wrist and was like [taps the sign] NO SHOULDS! THIS IS *NOT WORK*!!! and decided that okay, someday, if it sounds fun, i'll do it
