- so i started volunteering for this local org last fall and have become pretty deeply involved mostly bc i am nosy. anyway the number one problem we struggle with is that new volunteers show up and immediately want to do the most glamorous part of the org. girl i need someone to stuff envelopes
- if you are nervous about posting a fic you can always post it on anonymous. you can also do this if you want to post the fic but aren't entirely happy with it but can't be arsed to get to your high standards. and as a fun little side effect if it really pops off you will enjoy an air of mystery.

- I did grow up around guns and lived with them for many years and it's because I did and saw how "responsible" gun owners handle their guns that I would never, ever, ever own one or live with one again.
- Suddenly advocating for and embracing gun ownership because you think you might need to pull some John McClane vigilante bullshit in the next 30 days is exactly the kind of fear-based reaction that makes guns so outrageously dangerous to you and your family. Don't buy a gun.
