- I am peddling good coffee at the Windsor Forum market today - a volunteer gig connected to time I spent in Guatemala 30 years ago. There is an abundance of great sourdough bread, quality produce, eggs, and lots of room to sit and enjoy the coffee. Come make a vendor’s day.

- I sat in @busstoptheatrecoop.bsky.social last night for the first time in ages and watched Lee-Anne Poole’s How to Knit and might go back today and catch the other two Halifax “Refringe” shows on offer. Live theatre is an option. That is all.

- Two things I feel good about this week - indulgence in amazing Nova Scotia peaches and choosing to not let AI train off my posts on LinkedIn. Little wins, folks.
- This is an issue for many farmers in Nova Scotia. And the provincial regulations/ abattoirs are adequate for doos safety - in fact, compared side-by-side with federal regulations, the provincial ones are sometimes more stringent. There should be a “de minimis” exemption for interprovincial trade

- This seems important and also I’d like smart people I follow to discuss amongst yourselves so I can learn more. Thanks in advance.

- Just announced on LinkedIn: the new gig that’s bringing me to Dartmouth regularly - and getting me on my bike and the ferry - is as interim Executive Director at Alice House. I’ve really enjoyed my first three days back in an office.
- Day 2 of my dream commute - bike/ ferry to downtown Dartmouth (eventually I might attempt the bridge) and I met an older cyclist on her way to Toronto. She got to Halifax with a combo of train and bike. Multi-modal for a taste of adventure.
- Nearing end of my bike/ferry commute to a new gig in based downtown Dartmouth. It won’t always be summer but I am looking forward to starting my mornings like this for many months to come.

- From my email to #Halifax council: “By all means, spend tax dollars wisely but we spend a lot of money on roads in Halifax, and those roads are congested by cars and trucks. Any time we can allow people to bike or take transit instead of a personal vehicle is a win….
