I have a grey car (which, o wonder, I don’t hate) because I had budgeted for a barebones car and for £1000 extra I got the next size up, petrol-saving technology, and much more comfort. I was so, so lucky. Upgrade paid for itself in saved tax/petrol. But it’s grey. I’m team ‘give me colours’.
