- Thoughtful (but not slothful) examiner of WHY these terms are so bad. ‘We get irrevocable indefinite worldwide rights if you submit to us’ means it should be the last place on earth to submit to. If at all.
- I was starting to read in earnest in the 70s, and they were too old-fashioned for me THEN. Yes, I can appreciate some of the ideas. - Knew about Eddings (whose work I liked, even though it’s very flawed), knew about MZB (whose work I bounced off hard, has no idea about her abusive rejection letters (further down thread). Ugh, ugh, ugh.
- That’s children-we-know-of. Children don’t belong in cages. This administration is every bit as cruel as we had feared, and somehow, the senate continues to be completely toothless and young Republicans continue to bay for blood, and rich old men are comfortable because they’re getting richer.
