- Reposted by Améliane FC 💀Hello hello! For Access Granted, I'm looking to speak with disabled couples on how they play games. How do you and your partner(s) play with your disabilities? What games/accessibility tools are best for you and your partner(s)?
- Heya, it's #HorrorRecommendation o'clock! 👻 Here's 'Burnt Offerings' (1976), featuring Karen Black, Oliver Reed, and Bette Davis (amongst others). If you like Amityville, The Shining, Legend of Hell House or the ''malevolent/haunted house'' trope... you're in for a nice twisty treat. More below.
- No spoilers. Just some reasons why you should see it: - Karen Black's acting in her slow-and-gaslit descent into madness & despair is something to witness - The anxiety-inducing slow burn pace just... works - Anthony James as a creepy chauffeur is *chef's kiss* - Felt genuinely invested from A to Z

- In the @letterboxd.social community, many affirm that 'Burnt Offerings' walked so 'The Shining' could run. Don't compare the two, though, because that wouldn't be fair (the latter is hard to top). But noticing the similarities and inspirations is a fun add-on to the watching experience.
- All-in-all, definitely give 'Burnt Offering' a watch. It deserves its flowers, and still falls under the radar of many film and horror enthusiasts. 🏚️ Cheers! #Horror #MovieReview
- Just stumbled upon this gem about the accessibility journey of #CandyCrushSaga! We don't often get insider perspectives from leadership, so I'm grateful that Abigail Rindo (Head of Creative @ King) took the time to have this chat. shout out @neilchughes.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJMb...
- Especially interesting 'cause of how established Candy Crush is as an IP. First came out in 2012 as a Facebook flash game... then became a staple of mobile gaming. Then never stopped moving forward with updates, innovations and efforts keeping up with their audience AND competitors over the years.
- Given how King's mission has always been to make Candy Crush an approachable experience for ppl of all skills, age and backgrounds, it's no surprise that they've evolved into an accessibility-forward leader. While approachable doesn't always mean accessible, it can often be a nice gateway to it.
- (meaning that when a company adopts approachability as an important mindset to have, a design-driver even, it makes sense that this can evolve into becoming aware of accessibility as a concept, and eventually dedicate time and resources towards it)
- Reposted by Améliane FC 💀The best compliment we could have received this year! What would have been unthinkable even 5 years ago, is now considered "standard" from us by our audience <3 There is still a ton of work to do to improve the #a11y of our games. Meanwhile, I'm going to savour this milestone over the break

- Earlier this month, @keywordsstudios.bsky.social joined @netflix.com for their Accessibility in Localization Masterclass in Taiwan, which aimed at making Subtitles for the Deaf and HoH (SDH) more accessible for Traditional Chinese audiences. Chih-Chung Yung was honored to be co-host of the event.
- To be clear, this is an event I had no involvement with! Kudos to the Keywords Loc team for this amazing initiative :)
- preach. Also, just... bring back good, beautiful, smart, creative ads that actually make you *feel* something and want to hang them as art posters on your bedroom wall? Tired of being flooded by billions of AI-generated trash ads.
- Amazing! I’m a huge fan of @makersmakingchange.bsky.social and you should be too.
- The GAME Kit is a set of adaptive gaming essentials by @makersmakingchange.bsky.social. Marijn received a kit with assistive switches and adaptive joysticks for review. While only available in Canada, makers and organizations worldwide can take inspiration from it. caniplaythat.com/2025/09/18/m...
- Reposted by Améliane FC 💀I know, you're sitting there thinking "Damn, why isn't Grant releasing more JOURNALISM?" And the answer to that is SOON! In the meantime, I'm available for work! I cover community and investigative reports, accessibility reviews or previews, or just general disability coverage. JOURNALISM
- Reposted by Améliane FC 💀With the EAA (European Accessibility Act) becoming law in all EU member states on June 28, 2025, it's important that we understand when and how gaming products are impacted. We've put together a helpful summary on what we know so far. shorturl.at/l7AaS #EAA #Accessibility #GamesAccessibility
- I don’t know why, but I like to drink milk whenever I’m eating spaghetti (or other tomato-based pasta dishes). I’ve just always done it. So it’s just how it is.
- This is so freaking real 😂
- Finally saw #Sinners last night! Highly recommend. Def in my top flicks of 2025, if not the best so far. Go watch it!
- Big nose mcgee over here blessing your timeline
- Recently acquired the history of Graphic Design book by Jens Müller. One of my fav bits is the late 1800s German art magazine Jugend. Each cover being widely different in style, colour and vibe. I’m specifically obsessed with the creative typographies. #Taschen
- Happy #EAA day! www.playerresearch.com/blog/europea...
- Wishing a happy 10-year anniversary to @shudder.com 🙌🩸 Been subscribed since the first year I think? Sooooo much good stuff, classics and indie gems galore! Especially in the last few years, the catalog has grown SO MUCH. Not too late to get on the spooky bandwagon 🖤👻
- I’m in Québec city and was wondering what I could do tonight… this pub looks pretty neat though.
- (yes I am joking)
- Reposted by Améliane FC 💀The legal landscape for game accessibility has changed. GPSR requires safety, EAA requires accessible comms & ecommerce. The deadlines are upon us, but many devs remain unaware. If you don't know about these laws yet, you need to! Info: igda-gasig.org/what-and-why... #gamedev #indiedev

- 💯
- Soooooo freaking tired of buying new records that are curved or badly pressed. Anyone knows which records manufacturers to avoid, and which have a good track record (pun intended) of quality? Not buying anything new anymore for now, focusing on old records tested by the seller. #Vinyl
- Something I didn't write but should've: A no-barking toggle (or Barking audio slider haha) -- because I need to mute any game that has dogs/wolves in it, or else my rescue freaks out and cries and shakes. It's so specific, but would make my life (and my dog's) so much easier 😅 devs, get on it.
- On Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD) last week, we asked for your go-to accessibility options and settings that you look for when playing a new game. Here are just a few of your responses. Thanks to everyone who commented! #Accessibility #GamesAccessibility
