Oh I agree! It's such a shitty move... Unless he has very serious reasons for it (and hopefully not shady ones), it's pretty unacceptable imo 🤯 Got his giro win and left. Wasn't there much in the tour either was he. For a rider who said he wanted to do his brothers job, only for Visma 🙈
Exactly. As one who has just retired from teaching, a profession that, like cycling, operates on annual contracts, I know what it means to make that choice so that your employer isn’t left with a hole in the roster. It’s a matter of both professionalism and courtesy.
