- Dick van Dyke is a descendant of Francis Eaton of the Mayflower, also an ancestor of mine. Thus Dick van Dyke is my 10th cousin 2x removed. I don't care about finding famous people in my tree, but when I stumbled across this, it kind of made me happy. Who wouldn't want Dick van Dyke as a cousin?
