- Another #Tuam excavation #update. A step closer to answers but still a long road ahead. #ireland #motherandbabyhomes #galway For the full update, see: odait.ie/news/technic... (Part 1 of 2)
- Reposted by Daniel LoftusThis week, at their AGM, I was officially elected Archivist of The Littleport Society. I've been working for a few years on cataloguing, digitising, and building their browsable online catalogue (so far, consisting of 4,467 items). Loving it! www.littleportsociety.org.uk/catalogue #archives
- Trying to get back into posting more on Bluesky as I’ve not done so for a while. (But am trying to make sure I don’t get too over eager with posting and end up spamming people. 😅)

- Registered a child’s death who had died in a Dublin mother and baby home that had over three thousand dead almost 87 years after she died. Will forever be glad that she now has a death record. #MotherAndBabyHomes #Genealogy

- With the release of the 1926 Census now only 108 days away, the wait is going to be absolutely insufferable until then… 😩 But when it does release, I’m writing off my sleep schedule. 🤣

- A hearty thank you to @adultadoptee.bsky.social for letting me speak to their members about the work we do at @projectinfant.ie in trying to restore the names of those who died in mother and baby homes, industrial schools & Magdalene Laundries around Ireland… watch here! ⬇️ youtu.be/eJJ9TjeauJU?...

- If you have some time, please do listen to the two parts of Breda’s story. Breda speaks so eloquently, openly & passionately that I can only hope that this will be heard by many people. Trigger warning for both episodes, but it’s compelling accounts like this that make change.

- So, went on to the Irish Newspaper Archive website, forgetting the site revamp has gone live and oh, my GOD it's a massive improvement. Way more smooth when trying to view pages with more than 10 results to them. [and the infinite loading screens] - still getting used to the search, but good so far!

- The number of times I know what I want to do but can't think of the term for it. 🙄 Question. When you see on websites, you have like a path? Like: [photo] - what are these called and is this a plugin possible for WordPress? 😅

- I’d be interested to find the return for EVERY institution out there to see exactly how many were there. For instance, 729 students for Artane Industrial School in 1901, going up to 807 in 1911. I imagine it would be quite a large figure when we do get to finally have a look…
- Bought my first digital record image on the UK GRO, hadn't realised it would be there instantly! 😅 (Had noticed there were wait times for records but didn't realise it doesn't apply to images... 🤦🏻♂️) Got lucky with the image quality (which I'm grateful for as I know others have had issues with it!)
- There is a consultation in progress by Nuala McAllister, MLA — to put a Burial Protection Bill in place to stop the graves of thousands of stillborn children & children from institutions from being repurposed or resold / developed. Share your thoughts: formurl.com/to/burial_pr...

- I have a lot to say, but can't put it all into one post, so hopefully the image below will express it better than 280 characters could ever. It's a big change for @projectinfant.ie but one that needed to be done. Thank you all who support our work. 🩷🩵🤍 🔗: projectinfant.ie/forster

- Question for people who have an infotainment / multimedia system in their car. If you play music off a USB, what file format is the music in? Trying to figure out what file formats will play on a 2021 car. (I know MP3 is the obvious one but I know there are other, and probably better formats!)
