- I spent a short while looking for Luffia lapidella cases in a local graveyard this afternoon. Unfortunately I didn't find any, but did find this larva which I think is Marbled Beauty? #TeamMoth
- Some fairly heavy rain probably scuppered things last night, but at least the Irish man was kept at bay with a single Agonopterix heracliana/ciliella nfy. Jan stats: 6 traps, 3 Wogans, 3 moths of 3 species #TeamMoth
- A Chestnut was species number 2 of the year last night in Cromford. #TeamMoth
- Last night's Pale Brindled Beauty appears to be my earliest record here. #TeamMoth I don't get many, but that's probably down to lack of trapping opportunities as much as anything.
- I'm finally under way here in VC57. Pale Brindled Beauty is the first adult moth of 2026 🙂 #TeamMoth
