- Last week, Aldersgate Group's Senior Policy Officer, James Fotherby, gave evidence to Bill Esterson MP's Energy Security and Net Zero Committee. The Committee sought further evidence on their inquiry into workforce planning to deliver clean, secure energy.
- James highlighted that policy certainty is key to creating market demand for goods, and ultimately driving investment in skills. Which unlocks private investment and opens pathways to green skills, education and training. Previous examples of stop-start schemes have led to a lack of success.
