- The only way that anyone is surprised by this is if they are completely ignorant of the entire history and nature of the arts.
- This is such a naive take. You really think we’re making art to keep institutions alive, feed people’s habits, or tow certain lines? Most of us went into the arts expecting to be kinda poor and unknown, but we really believe in what we do.
