- my most dire observation on driverless cars is, waymos slow down if you step in front of them --- humans speed up and honk. i know this is ridiculous oversimplification and i hate the robot-car future, but yeah. atm i have more confidence around robots with lidar vs drivers watching tiktoks.

- walking and biking around waymos in Phoenix, and, i would rather walk in a crosswalk in front of a waymo than a phx driver...at least the waymo is programmed to stop instead of speeding up and honking, the normal driver behavior. i don't like waymos, but humans are scarier in their casual rage.
