- Reposted by Alan SeawrightThese are very easy things to say: I am against gun violence, no matter who is the victim or perpetrator. I am against genocide, no matter who is the victim or the perpetrator. I am against child abuse, no matter who is the victim or the perpetrator. Please let's choose love over fear.

- Every democrat has to throw this in the face of every republican for the rest of time. Republicans are ALL complicit, if not actively participating.

- This is the creation of the American NKVD, Stasi, Gestapo. I know it sounds like hyperbole. But how is it not? They have infinite resources to grab people off the street, with no due process, and disappear them. That is what secret police do.

- Reposted by Alan Seawrightas for the upshot of the decision, the republican court has put the citizen children of non-citizens in a position similar to that of free blacks during the antebellum period. their right to enjoy the privileges and immunities of american citizenship will vary according to state borders
- It's definitely coming. And with this clown court, the racists will win (as long as they frame it as religious belief.)

- I am getting increasingly excited for the Highlander reboot. Chad Stahelski will shoot the hell out of it. I was already on board with Henry Cavill as the Highlander (all that dude knows how to do is COMMIT) and now Russell Crowe as Ramirez (or whatever the character is called now)? I'm in!

- Reposted by Alan Seawright🚨🚨The White House is pissed off about this ad so you know what to do, share it everywhere! ICE is disappearing people just because of the color of their skin! No Warrant! No Due Process! This is not who we are as Americans! #MAGAKidnappers want an all white America, fuck that‼️

- Reposted by Alan SeawrightWe’re announcing new legislation — the No Secret Police Act (SB 627) — to ban local/state/federal law enforcement, w/ some exceptions, from covering their faces when interacting w/ the public & require them to wear identifying info. The secret police behavior we’re seeing destroys trust & must end🧵

- I wish this meant he was uniquely awful, but this kind of garbage is table stakes to be in the Trump administration.
- Truth rings eternal.
- How to be a baddie: Do your hair good, and have a not-bad face. -my 12-yr-old son. Dude is the rizzler.
- @ioniqguy.bsky.social I’d love to contribute to your channel! I run @cinema-therapy.bsky.social, and am a 20 yr film industry professional. Additionally, an ioniq 5 owner. A good friend has the Genesis GV60, and we’ve talked about doing some EV videos. DM me. Let’s chat.
- After reading the new Texas Monthly top 50, and seeing all the gulf coast joints on the list, I have a proposal: Rename the Gulf of Mexico/America the Gulf of BBQ. This is the kind of bipartisanship we need in America.
- I care far more about the Texas Monthly top 50 BBQ list than I should. But the new list dropped. And I just spent an hour reading it. And planning a road trip. And maybe a gulf coast sailing trip.
- We need more YIMBY stuff like this, nationwide. The anti-landlord messaging works better in NY than it would in Provo, but there is pro-infill messaging that works, even for single-family homeowners.
- This is a bribe. Everyone, on both sides of this (Paramount, Trump and his cronies) should go to prison.

- So, this is strange. I have 8,000+ followers on the old bird app. 2,000+ on the sewing app. I know I haven't been very active here, but I haven't even cracked 200 yet. It's weird. Kinda nice, if I'm honest. But weird.
- @ioniqguy.bsky.social Any news on '25 Ioniq 5 supporting turn-by-turn from Apple Maps the way Genesis does?
- Todd out here doing the Lord’s work. VFX are awesome and should be celebrated.

- The US is a consumption economy because we’re so much richer than the rest of the world. We’re rich precisely because we DON’T build things. We design them, service them, and create new science and ideas and art. Might as well say: Make America Poor Again.

- Reposted by Alan Seawrightthe thing I hate most about that rfk quote is that autistic lives have value and worth and beauty and dignity whether they are able to do the things other people do or not. no one is defined by ability or lack thereof and to frame divergence as lack is monster stuff, utterly godless

- I will (in time) be able to forgive many of these people (not the racists/nazis). But I’ll never forget. And I’ll work my ass off for the rest of my life to make sure that not a damn one of them ever achieves any amount of political power in my country again.
- That is strange.
- For the first time in… a decade(?) I went naked-ears at the gym. No headphones. No music. No podcasts. No audiobooks. And I had a revelation. It sucked. Keep me hooked to that ContentIV. Put thoughts and tunes in my brain.
