Jules
Here to party
- That was the best show of my entire life. I don't know what to do with myself anymore. My life feels somehow changed by how amazing that was

- My tortoise fan friend, you can say whatever the hell you want when you're here with me in snail land 🕶️🐌
- Rainy day outside for the MCR concert...bad weather for a concert? Perhaps...good weather for a snail? Oh absolutely...
- Snail posting will resume this week
- My other hot new bluesky (I keep calling these 'blogs' because mentally, it's always Tumblr 2014 to me)
- Kandi for the MCR Boston concert that says "snail" but has all the colors and themes appropriate to the situation (I just love snails)

- This is also very true...it takes me such a long time to go from letter to letter...they need to make a keyboard for snails
- Sorry for not posting more. Have been going on a journey of self discovery and it has not been fun. It has been, however, perhaps, illuminating
- Seeing MCR this Sunday and it will be my first time going to a big stadium concert.
- My roasted vegetable pasta came out fantastic
- Snail prophecy

- Reposted by JulesWe're big fans of snails over here. Here's a species that has less than 10 iNaturalist observations: Sheldonia cotyledonis! 📷 cliffdorse on iNaturalist 📍 South Africa 🔗: www.inaturalist.org/observations... #ObservationOfTheDay #InverteFest

- Reposted by JulesSamoana fragilis (Family Partulidae, Chamorro: akaleha'), found on Rota Island in the Northern Mariana Islands and on Guam These snails have translucent shells, so color differences are from their flesh, not their shells #InverteFest #JoyOfMolluscs 🐌

- Need something to take the edge off *looks at pictures of snails and cries tears of joy*
- Have you ever had an old forgotten potato and then it smells so bad. Welcome To My Tuesday

- Nice to get that off my chest. Time for snails
- I am about to get wildly personal so forgive me. I am just so...half relieved, half enraged. I do not usually like sharing personal things, and I feel somewhat guilty using my innocuous snail blog to vent, but I just...gah! Rest assured, this won't be graphic or anything, just personal. 🧵Maybe?

- "Mauve" is another one of my favorite words
- I love eating medium size shells pasta when a bunch of the shells stick together and form a ball-like shape, absolutely succulent, best bite in the world right there
- "Fool" is one of my favorite words
- I don't even know all that much about snails. Maybe more than the average person, sure, but I'm no expert. Something about them just soothes me. I've always loved creatures. I remember as a kid, one year we lived in a place that would get hundreds of baby toads...I would just sit and observe them.
- I love being a baker by trade because any time I want a treat I can whip it up no problem provided I have the ingredients. And if I don't have the ingredients? Why, I cry and wail
- I nod sagely to myself before I hit the post button, every single time
- I like whining, I've decided. And also being kind when I can be, and caring without finding it cringey. And also being a snail. I love being a snail. And whining
- When I was a kid I thought the Texas Roadhouse was a weirdo freak themed restaurant specific to where we lived, and only found out it was a chain when I talked to people as an adult like, "Haha, I grew up with this weird cowboy themed restaurant nearby, isn't that whacky." This experience haunts me
