- You should read this
- Dominoes is more than a game. For the Windrush generation + their descendants. It's a gateway that bridges generations, blends cultures, + echoes the rhythm of home on foreign soil.
- Sung by those photographers who twist light, blur truth + call it art. The anthem of the gaslighter behind the lens: I’m the shutter-shaker, story-fabricator I’m the truth-eraser, focus-manipulator I’m a gaslighter, slick gaslighter You’re the subject, warped exposure.

- Fundraiser Mongi + Kuda led worship at their fundraiser ahead of October’s Cambodia mission trip building wells, toilets, renovating a church + more. Every donation helps cover travel, food + insurance. Support here: www.gofundme.com/f/kuda-mongi...

- My last view of Jamaica. Land we love. Tourists arrive free. Windrush left with no return. Cruise ships dock. Migrant boats are blocked. Souvenir shops sell island life but not Marcus Garvey. The colonial era is over, but its passport still decides who gets welcome.

- Revolution doesn’t always wear a slogan. Sometimes it sounds like dominoes slapping wood and a story told over rum. The rum shop is a classroom. A confessional. A strategy room in disguise. Freedom dreams live here. Ask Robin D.G. Kelley.
- Dominoes is more than a game. In Jamaica, it's strategy, rhythm and resistance. You don’t choose your hand, you choose how you play it. As Robin D. G. Kelley says, even play is political. In dominoes, Black joy becomes memory, mastery and freedom.
- Prayer is less about miracles + more about recognising our shared vulnerability + hope. In naming another’s struggle, we often uncover our own. To pray for someone is to honour their humanity + in doing so, affirm our own.
- In that moment, a song of worship filled the air. If I had to offer a song now, it would be one from The Preacher’s Wife. It feels most fitting for this moment of reflection. I love the Lord He heard my cry And pitied every groan Long as I, I live And troubles rise I'll hasten to His throne

- As the season draws its final breath, the faithful in Bradford lift their voices to a hard-earned ascent to Division 1. And in that chorus of triumph, comes the chant that binds them: And it's Bradford City, Bradford City FC, We're by far the greatest team, The world has ever seen.
- Wi likkle but wi tallawah. Some truths don’t need to be shouted. If you’ve lived them, you’ll recognise them in life, in photography + in this short essay. Peace + love to @andrewjackson.bsky.social This is #photography. www.theblkgze.com/all/wi-likkl...
