I have been fortunate to have many mentors in my life, many of them ornithologists, funded by public dollars to promote conservation and education. - UVM #NSSLHA hid purple rocks around campus for #dldday! At the Language Learning Lab at UVM, we study speech production in preschoolers with DLD and late talking toddlers in an effort to understand early identifiers of the disorder.
- The #NSSLHA chapter at the University of Vermont is here for #dldday! They set up at the student center and talked to students about #DLD. They painted rocks purple with facts about the disorder and left them around campus with instructions for a social media challenge for campus! #radld
